RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES, FREIGHT & DELIVERY, SCHEDULES & STORAGE, COM ORDERS,
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
As all of our products are custom made and finished to order, there are strictly no refunds, no returns and all sales are final.
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
All acknowledged orders are considered as firm orders and are not subject to cancellation or revision. If for any reason cancellation is permitted it will be at the discretion of POSTOBELLO through written consent. If approved, cancelled orders will be subject to a cancellation charge. No cancellations will be accepted on custom products. Since all upholstery items are manufactured to the customer’s specifications, we will not accept cancellations after the fabric has been ordered.
SCHEDULE / DELIVERY CHANGES / STORAGE
Any delivery date change must be submitted in writing and approved by POSTOBELLO. If customer is unable to accept an order when it is ready for shipment, storage may be requested. Acceptance of storage will be at the discretion of POSTOBELLO. All costs including transportation will be at customer expense. A storage charge of 1.5% of the invoice will be assessed for every 30 days, or any part thereof, that merchandise remains in storage. POSTOBELLO considers this transfer to storage the equivalent of delivery for all purposes, including invoicing and payment. Customer will bear all risk of damage or loss during storage.
FREIGHT & DELIVERY CLAIMS
POSTOBELLO is not liable for damages that occur during transit or for storage. All products are carefully inspected by our expert staff and are in perfect condition prior to shipping. The carrier assumes all responsibility upon acceptance of products. All shipments should be opened and inspected immediately upon receipt. Claims for damages, shortages or overcharges should be placed with delivering carrier by the buyer or receiver of goods. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all products upon receipt and file ANY and ALL and claims with the carrier. Do not accept the shipment until all shortages and carton damage are noted on both the bill of lading and the freight bill. Concealed damage must be reported to the carrier within 15 days of receipt. Failure to make claims shall constitute acceptance of the products and waiver any claims of defects, errors or shortages. Hold product/packaging for carrier’s inspection.

COM orders will not be scheduled for production until the last fabric is received.
NATURAL WOOD DISCLAIMER
POSTOBELLO WOOD AND WOOD FINISHES
POSTOBELLO handcrafted furniture is made of solid woods and wood veneers and each piece is custom made. Natural wood expands and contracts as moisture in atmospheric surroundings changes. Some woods may crack due to drastic temperature and climate changes. While this is a very rare occurrence, POSTOBELLO cannot control nor will be held responsible for these forces of nature.
POSTOBELLO is also not responsible for the wear and tear to furniture due to everyday use. Each piece of POSTOBELLO fine wood furniture is finished by hand and involves many steps. The result is a beautiful and unique piece. Wood has grain and color variations due to the growth pattern of each tree. Due to theses variations and the process by which we hand finish each piece, finishes on individual pieces will not necessarily match. The finishes shown on our website have been reproduced as accurately as possible.

POSTOBELLO endeavors to display the products and other images on our site as accurately as possible. However, since we cannot control the capabilities and limitations of your monitor, we do not guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color, texture or detail of any actual merchandise will be accurate. Colors are not guaranteed. Due to color variability in computer and screen monitors, we have no liability if colors of the products do not match their display on the site. We reserve the right to change and discontinue products at any time without notice to you.
